Happy Wednesday, Global Advocates! #InCaseYouMissedIt The Give Me 5! Campaign has been experiencing some exciting changes, and we are thrilled to welcome two new members to the team! In this post, we will introduce Amanda Colombo, our new Social Media and Communications Specialist!

Amanda, a native of Wallington, New Jersey, is a graduate of Saint Peter’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and will start her Masters of Science in Global Affairs with a concentration of Energy and the Environment at New York University in the fall of 2017.  She is deeply compassionate about both the environment and actions toward climate change adaptation.  With her time over the years, Amanda has represented The Guarini Institute at Saint Peter’s University as a Non-governmental Organization at the United Nations, advocated for UNISDR’s Making Cities Resilient Campaign, and worked as a social media representative for both The New Jersey Conservation Foundation and Sustainable Jersey City. Her hobbies include coaching and playing volleyball, reading, and going to the beach.

We wish her the best of luck in her graduate program this coming fall, and are looking forward to collaborating with her on the campaign!
